Data retention

Zeno Link keeps as little data as possible. Below is what we store and for how long.

What we store

• Account identifier — to sign you in and contact you
• Subscription data — plan, period, payment status
• Registration country and city — a geographic label, without an IP address
• Short session statistics — which server you used, when, how much traffic, and the country, city and provider; deleted after 30 days
• Daily traffic totals for your account — without an IP address
• Service monitoring records — which server your session was on and when; kept up to 120 days, without an IP address

IP addresses

Your IP address is used temporarily to determine country and city. The IP addresses saved at registration, with your device and in connection sessions are erased automatically within 3 days. Web server and API logs also contain IP addresses; they are kept for up to 30 days.

What our database does not contain

• The websites you visit
• DNS queries
• The content of your traffic — it is encrypted and we do not inspect it

Automatic cleanup

A cleanup process runs once a day: it erases the IP addresses listed above once they are older than 48 hours (so up to 3 days in practice) and deletes session statistics older than 30 days.
